The pop star was mobbed by students as he made his way through the dance floor on Saturday

Justin Bieber just made this high school prom better than yours.

The pop star shocked students from Chatsworth Charter High School on Saturday night with an impromptu appearance.

Bieber never got to go to his own prom, but that all changed when he showed up on the middle of the dance floor.

In a series of videos posted by some very excited students, ear-piercing screams can be heard ringing out in auditorium as the teen pin-up makes his way through the crowd.

Videos show Bieber, who is dressed in a black trilby and maroon T-shirt, with a massive grin as he gets chased through the crowds, literally leaving girls lying on the floor in his wake.

In another short clip you can see him dancing with one lucky student in a sparkling tiara and white sequin dress.

Students later took to Twitter to thank him for the best prom pretty much ever. The school's senior class tweeted: "Justin Bieber showing
