Mangkapon is monster rock band of Thailand. There are 5 members in the band. Mangkapon (the same name of the band) is guitarist and founder of the band. Kumramrob is guitarist and the head. Nguja is a bassist. Wadnok is keyboardist. Arila is drummer.

We released 2 singles "Dannarok" and "Kluen Kratob Fung". For "Pikart Chalawan is 3rd of our singles.

Inspiration for this song comes from a Thai fable about "Kraitong." The story is of a hero, Kraitong, that set out to slay a magical crocodile named "Chalawan" to rescue to maidens, Tapaokaew and Tapaotong. I would think the two maidens, without Kraitong, would be enough to defeat Chalawan. So, the instrumentals in this song are about the actions of the two maidens and Chalawan, the magical crocodile.
